It's been a while since I gave an in-depth update. So let me fill you in on what I have been up to.

I've been concentrating on finding a new job. (one of my new year's resolutions) My hope is to land a new gig by the end of the summer. Currently I must have 50+ résumé’s circulating. Which is a lot. But I guess you never know. I might be a little under qualified for some of the jobs I'm applying for. I want a design job, and not an entry-level design job. Only problem is that I really have more production experience then design.

Still a lot to do. I never seem to have enough time. Really it's more like I waste too much time. The days have a way of slipping away from me. I have this whole plan in my head about what I'm going to do when I get home from work and I'm lucky if I get one thing from my list done. grrrrrrrrrr

Things I still need to do:

1) Update my design gallery and put together a PDF of samples to send out with my resume.

2) Start participating in Illo Friday again. I totally fell off the wagon and then they went and change the format of supplying a new topic in Friday instead of Monday, which make sense, I just need to re-adjust.

Speaking of which I actually wrote a little article for my local SCBWI Newsletter (Acorn Spring 2005) and I mention Illo Friday. They messed up on some of the editing and their curning and spacing make it a little hard to read, but it's all there. Check it out here.

3) I want to submit to SCBWI's Featured Artist

4) I need to do a postcard mailing and update my illo. portfolio in time for The Roadshow in July.

5) Work on my next 2 book Ideas. I have a concept book brewing that should be pretty simple. I just need to take the time out to do it.
